Roux
Blocks, CMLL, then the last six edges with M and U: few moves, few algorithms.
Roux (Gilles Roux, 2003) builds two 1x2x3 blocks on the left and right, solves the four top corners with one algorithm (CMLL), and finishes the six remaining edges with M and U turns (LSE). It averages around 48 moves, fewer than CFOP, and needs only the 42 CMLL algorithms; most of it is intuitive blockbuilding.
After the blocks and CMLL, only the M-slice and top edges remain.

- •First block (FB): a 1x2x3 on the left, usually planned in inspection.
- •Second block (SB): a 1x2x3 on the right, built with R, r, U and M without breaking the first.
- •CMLL: orient and permute the four top corners (42 cases).
- •LSE: orient the edges (EO), place UL and UR, then the M slice (4a, 4b, 4c).
